Dubai Frame: A Symbolic Landmark
Dubai continues to push boundaries making the impossible possible, and this picture frame is no exception. Located in Zabeel Park, the Dubai Frame building is positioned in such a manner that you will get to witness the various chapters of the city from all angles. On one side, you will see the new Dubai, with its tremendous growth through the towering skyscrapers. On the other side, you will see the old Dubai overlooking Deira, taking visitors back to where it all began. The frame symbolically bridges the gap between these two chapters. It also shows viewers the future of the UAE through a dedicated exhibition.
Dubai Frame: Behind the Scenes
Go big or go home, this is the motto Dubai lives by, and the Dubai Frame is a representation of it! Although not as tall as the Burj Khalifa, this golden picture frame is nearly 500 feet (150 meters) tall — almost 200 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty! The attraction covers over 9,900 square meters, and almost 2,000 tons of solid steel were used to make what is the largest picture frame in the world today.

The laminated glass panels cover 2,900 square meters, and the exterior of the Dubai Frame shimmers from the golden cladding made of stainless steel paper, covering more than 15,000 square meters. The exterior design is covered in circles, representing the upcoming Expo 2020. The Frame consists of 48 floors, which can be covered in 75 seconds by taking the lift, where you get to experience the panoramic view that the city has to offer.
